Question by MR. Cool: What is the best of the best oil painting supplies?
What the best oil paints? What are the best brushes? What is the best paper for the oil? What is needed to make the art realistic? Thanks.

The best bristle for paint brushes is hog hair. If you buy nylon or any other type of ‘soft’ paint brush and dip them into paint thinner, the hairs will flare out and disintegrate, wrecking your brushes. But the soft bristles will create a more blended line and therefore more realistic.
Types of brushes:
For oil paintings, you must paint on canvas or sealed paper (the oil will eat away at the paper if you don’t.)
Brand of paint doesn’t matter much…
Also you will need an oil, like linseed or walnut oil.
